After a 1-year hiatus, HUZAM is back. We will debut two new original pieces, along with songs from our albums Huzam and Karama, plus some iconic favorites from around the Arab world. We celebrate this return at our favorite Chicago venue, Epiphany on Sunday February 1st at 7pm.

Lead by Egyptian percussionist and composer Karim Nagi, the ensemble performs original and traditional repertoire of various Arab regions and genre. Their passionate on-stage dynamism and improvisatory flair is something that can be enjoyed by even those unfamiliar with the style. Karim Nagi is an accomplished performer, TEDx Speaker, and bestower of joy, who gathers the top virtuosic talents of Chicago to represent the beauty of Arab music & culture.
