Dance of Unity, Dance of Peace with Al-Sham Ensemble and Dervishes

An Evening of Rumi’s Poetry, Sufi Music, and Whirling Dervishes

The music of the Sufi tradition, as well as poetry of Rumi and his teacher Shams al-Din Mohammad Tabrizi, will be featured throughout the ceremony. In tradition with the sama (listening) and dhikr (remembrance), Sufi rituals of unity, we invite you to join us with musicians and dervishes (dancers) in our ceremony of meditation, celebration, inspiration, and peace.
